Mosquito repellant patches for newborns

Hi mummies! Can we stick mosquito repellant patches (e.g cloversoft’s) around our newborn? Not on skin but on clothes, cot etc. My area was just declared a dengue cluster and I would like to try and protect my LO as much as possible! Any recommendations? Thank you!

I paste mosquito patches around my bed (baby cosleep) so i cots will be fine. I don’t stick on clothings as I find it too direct for baby. I only started sticking patches on clothings after 1yo but it’s just me, you do you!
