7 months unable to flip

My baby was lazy to flip and shows not much interest in flipping. But after I read can try to give them the cheering when they try something like flipping, I tried flipping him then give him a super excited cheering and repeatedly do it for a few times. Then he started flipping on his own. He only managed to do it at 6months plus.
