I’m a first time mom and getting sick of pumping breast milk
Hi mummies, am I the only one feels lazy to pump breast milk every day? Any mummies experience the same thing also? Anyone can recommend a good and trusted hourly nanny too? Thanks in advance !
Yes super duper tired of pumping! Been thinking about stopping since the beginning of year. But everyday I just keep going. I feel guilty, cause I wanna give baby my best! But I’m cutting down already! Reaching my goal to bf baby for 18 months! And he’s turning 18 in 3 weeks! Wheeee! But don’t think I’ll stop when he turn 18 though. Maybe I continue a bit more.
Read moreI don’t like pumping too. So I try to make pumping a happy event. I watch my fav drama or play game while pumping while my hubby take care of the baby. I wanted to stop, but every time when I see my baby sick, I wanted to give her breastmilk for the antibodies. I cannot take away her uncomfortable-ness, but at least I can do something for her.
Read morePumping is like a chore for me too with additional engorgement pain. It hurts like crazy & i decided to put a stop to it. So i went KK to stop my breastmilk. Feels sad but.. at the end of the day i am still a mother.😅 I can’t do it, but... you are amazing!☺️☺️
yes I went KK A&E immediately. the doc discouraged me stopping but i stand my decision because i cannot take the pain & i need my sleep more than pumping. i was given two tiny tablets. but 1 tablet cut into half morning another half night. both after meals. i delayed pumping & when i pump i only give 5-7 mins each side to just relieve the slight engorgement. do massage while pumping. my delayed pumping was from 6hrs then i dragged to 12 hrs. now my milk is lesser, my engorgement is almost gone. so far no side effects. i am so much happier...
I'm FTM too & tired with pumping, my husband also feel tired of me to pump everytime😅We have no helper or anyone to take care baby, just myself & husband. Everyday I use lots energy on baby as well as house chore, I'm drained when pumping or latching:(
I was starting to feel this too lately..and I am only 5 months postpartum 😅 Especially waking up to pump twice every single night.
I hate pumping too I'm oversupply mummy after nursing I have to pump. I use handsfree pump which is so much easier for me.
Yes very lazy but after one episode of mastitis and when my baby cranky I offer boob calms her down it makes me discipline
I don't like pumping too. Prefer direct latching. No need wash so many things..
Hahaha i keep telling my husband if only its possible to pump lying down 😂
Hahaha breastfeeding is damn tiring. I second you
