Just Mums

Confinement woes/rants :(

Hi Mummies, I gave birth recently and am currently doing confinement. Having to latch, breastfeed, recovery while coping with lack of sleep is really exhausting. On top of that, my husband isn't taking initiative to help out. I am someone who is relatively independent and if it's possible, I very much do things on my own when I can. But because I am in recovery, it's tough to bend or do any cleaning etc. I was also advised to rest more after delivery. Every time will need to request for help before he does anything. I'm so exhausted about everything..

The key thing is husband has to be hands on. Force him. Else all your life you will need to do everything on your own. Its his baby too. Ask him be a functional dad.
