Any mummies bought insurance for ur lo?
Yup, if possible - from pregnancy you should have had yourself covered by maternity insurance because of complications which may have happened during pregnancy or childbirth. Otherwise, it's important to start insurance coverage for your child as soon as you can - preferably from the time he/she is born! This is because they are at the best of health then, so they'd be eligible for all kinds of insurance - if you do not cover them early, the fear is that they might end up having complications after birth which aren't covered AND will likely affect their chances of ever getting covered by insurance ever again. The most basic you should have would be hospitalization and personal accident, followed by early critical illness and endowment/savings. It's highly recommended to get the best plans available because they're still cheap when they're young, and it's much harder to upgrade a plan than to downgrade if something does happen! After getting your child covered, you have to look at covering yourself and your spouse too - because it will affect your family if either one gets injured and/or loses income. For me, I've gotten my son and I covered for most things under AIA - but also have plans with AXA and endowment plan with Prudential. We're still not 100% covered yet, because my son doesn't have any critical illness or life insurance and I don't have early critical illness for myself :/

I actually bought insurance for my LO from Great Eastern by registering for a free goodie bag at Cradle of Love. I got a free goodie bag after listening to their talk and purchasing their insurance plan!

Yes, we did. In fact, we bought a few insurance policies for them to make sure they are well-covered should anything happen.
