I feel that at this age, milk is still the main source of nutrition. For my baby, her milk intake dropped after starting solids, and she also refused to drink after eating, so I gave milk before giving solids. The normal rice cereals itself don’t have much nutrients. Some brands have added iron. Fruit puree has other vitamins and minerals, and is also sweet, so my kids liked that. Or you can also give both (but when introducing new foods, give a new thing 3 days later, to identify possible allergies)
