Perineal cold pad after birth

My doctor had me to use it after my delivery. It definitely helps in easing the pain. I use them till about 2 weeks pp. But this pad does not absorb too much of the blood. So I would suggest you to use Kotex overnight panty together with it to prevent leakage. Also if you intend to get it, you can purchase from the pharmacy. The hospital ward charge a lot more.

use it by itself as if you use a sanitary pad. the pad itself will absorb blood besides giving the cold feeling. need to change when it's either full or when the pad is no longer cold.

gov hospital will provide this cold pad. it will help ease the pain from stitches and absorb the blood..
