Formula Intake for newborns

Hi mummies, My 18 day old baby is mainly on formula milk, currently drinking 80ml. But he still seems to be hungry after finishing almost all the milk every feed. According to paediatrician on our last visit, first week should be 50-60ml and increase 10ml every week. What is the normal intake for your 3 week old baby? Should I increase for my son? Just concerned that he overeat and end up with colic.. TIA

Some babies do cluster feed and drink more within a short amount of time (but may have longer intervals. Cluster feeding is usually in the initial period or during growth spurts). You can go by weight.. 150-200ml/kg/day, and see if baby’s drinking the appropriate amount of milk for his size.
