LATE REGISTRATION
Hello Momsh. May possibility po ba ma change ko ang surname ni baby sa father nya, di ko pa po kasi siya narehistro sa registrar. After ko makuha yung live birth nya sa hospital, di ko po na pa rehistro sa Local Civil Registrar Office. 5 years ago na
Mas madali lang palitan ang surname kung sakali hindi pa siya registered. Pero as far as I know, kapag sa hospital ka nanganak, sila na nagpa register sa baby. If ever naka register na po yung bata, punta pang kayo sa Local Civil Registrar kung saan registered ang anak nyo para sa filing ng Legitimation. Requirements po are: Certified True Copy of Birth ng bata, Marriage Contract nyo, Cenomar (if I’m not mistaken). Sa registrar’s office, may affidavit na kailang e signed si father kaya kayo po dalawa dapat andon.
Magbasa paYes sis pwede mo pa naman ma register mas okay na mas maaga. Sa may quezon ave yung office ng NSO with regards sa may mga concern about birth certificates.
