6 month old diarrhoea

Hi moms my 6 month old had diarrhoea for 3 days. Dr couldn’t prescribe any medication because she’s still small. Just electrolytes and probiotics. Anyway although it has stopped, her poop is still unusually smelly and her tummy is uncomfortable at times. We apply oil and rub, give her warm bath to make her feel better. She’s still active, no fever etc. Her poop hasn’t gone back to normal haha still funky smell but not watery just mushy. Dr say it will take a few days for poop to turn back normal. Any tips? Or we just need to wait it out? Thank you!!!
