Hello mommies! Can pregnant women drink Coconut Water or Tea during pregnancy?

Coconut water is very healthy for both baby and mother. Pregnant woman should drink daily coconut water. Tea should be avoided or drink less amount of tea, if need.

My ob/gyn asked me to avoid all coconut (water, cream, otah, laksa) and pineapple until I’m past the 1st tri. He explained that the fetus is too small to handle the contractions you may have after consuming coconut and pineapple. Imagine an earthquake in your womb. Sounds dangerous to me.
