SSS Maternity benefit

Hello mga sis. Ask ko lang po, kaka resigned ko lang last march 2019 sa work as an IT Professor, pero I had to leave for 3 months from february 12 to april kasi I had a cast sa right foot ko due to fractured ankle. Nag stop si employer magbigay ng contribution last feb. 15. So, feb 30 wla ng hinuhulog sa sss. Tanong ko lang po, makaka avail pa rin ba ako ng sss maternity benefit although hindi ako nag voluntary? I was 6 years employed in the institution as a regular employee before I resigned. And the due date will be on december 2019. Thanks!

Momsh based on my experience you may need to pay voluntary contribution since January pa yung last na buo ang contribution mu. Requirement kasi ng SSS na dapat meron kang at least 3 months contribution within 12 months prior to delivery to qualify. Its best to inquire now sa nearest SSS para mahabol mu pa if ever....

Hello sis. Yes meron na akong mat1 and ni received na din ng sss yun. At binigyan din nla ako ng mat2.
