Since 1st trimester ka pa lang, iwas ka muna sa hilaw na papaya, pinya, at ubas. Yung pinya pwede na kainin on latter part ng 2nd trimester upto 3rd trimester. Ang always na iiwasan throughout pregnancy is raw foods, especially malasadong itlog, kinilaw, and sushi.
