induce labor

Hi mga momsh, I'm 37 weeks and 2 days preggy now and first time mom, last check up ko Kay doc is nung aug.12 and sabe niya sakin if wala pakong sign Ng labor hanggang 18 ,epapa admit nadaw niya ako and 19 induce labor kami, so hanggang ngayon Po wala padin po ako sign Ng labor , mga momsh ask ko Lang Po di Po ba masyadong maaga para iinduce ako ni doc ?ano Po kayang mga reason bakit niya ako iinduce ? Masakit Po ba? (Sorry sa mga tanong ko☺️ , naka pag research Naman Po ako about sa induce labor pero curios padin ako 😅 kaya naisip why not mag tanong ako sa inyo baka sakaling this time maliwagan nako☺️ Thank you so much po sa mga sasagot😊 Keep safe everyone ❤️

I'm 37 weeks and 4 days now. last check up ko was yesterday. doctor didnt mention anything to me about inducing labor. babalik lang ako for check up with her next week. anyways, weeks 37 to 38 are still considered early term. 39 to 40 ang full term. do you have underlying condition ba? hypertensive? gestational diabetes? any significant finding sa ultrasound?

FYI sa mga nagreply regarding 37 weeks being full term. This used to be the case. But not anymore. "Any pregnancy over 39 weeks is now considered full term. Babies born 37 weeks to 38 weeks and six days are considered early term." -Healthline https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/babies-born-at-36-weeks#early-vs-full-term Anyway, mommy, since your BP is increasing, follow your doctor's advice for both your safety and baby's as well. A huge percentage of babies are born at 37 weeks and are perfectly healthy!! good luck and congrats in advance :)
