Moro Reflex

My LO used to be able to sleep independently by sucking one hand while the other hand is swaddled. He did not have much reflex. However ever since he noticed his hands ( e.g look n hold his hands), his moro reflex seems to get stronger and making it difficult for him to sleep. Any mummies experience this?
