I don’t think can negotiate for the school fees. Different fees could be due to 1) diff subsidies 2) promotions during that period when they sign up/register (because schools will have different promotions/discount every now and then for new registration. 3) some school under “work Centre”, priority given to the staff at that location(eg the preschools are within the office building, school, hospital and etc), so even it’s the same “brand” of school, the school listed under work center will be cheaper, cap at $800 for “work center” preschool. Public kids still can apply but priority given to the staff at the location of the school located. You may like to check with the school for more information regarding the different fees offered.

other parents paid cheaper usually cause of subsidies based on their financial background. it was granted by the government not up to the childcare to offer cheaper whatnot. so can't really negotiate with the school. maybe it will be more constructive to go see MP to write a letter to ecda to ask for higher subsidies.

It might be because the school were merged. If you enrolled your kid into an expensive school, of course the rate are expensive but if a cheaper school is force to merge w an expensive school a cheaper price will be given to the cheaper school parents for only a year & pricing will be revised.

generally preschool fees are fixed. But if you have heard that other parents are negotiating, I think there is no harm in trying :)
