LO enjoys bathing at home but when she baths at my mum's home, she will cry hysterically. Any mummies experience this? If yes, what can I do? Will she react like this when we are overseas?
Experienced it before too at my mil's place. It could be unfamiliar environment and unfamiliar person bathing. For 1 week plus, a few times I had my mil with me when I bath my little one(talk and play with him), then I bath him twice at my mil place myself then my mil bath him twice herself - then it was ok. And it was all fine when we left our boy at my mil place while we went on holiday. You can try what I did or can also try: 1) Try to hide when ur mum is bathing ur child, sometimes it could also be they just want us to bath them (which is what my boy does sometimes). 2) It would be great to continue using the bath toys (squirt crab or rubber ducky) or do routines (eg. Counting fingers and toes) that u do with ur child until they are both comfortable with each other completely 3) bath at the same time/routine - eg if it's always after morning feed bath, continue with that timing 4) could be a temperature thing - too hot or cold 5) ur mum needs to be confident when bathing ur child - they can sense u stress and will act up (some practice with u would help) Hopefully these help :)

The moment she was placed in the tub, she looked around and started crying even though my fil was still the one bathing her! She only stopped crying when she was out from the tub and back to my room to put on her clothes.

If you can bathe your LO at your mum on your own then slowly let your mum take over so as to let baby get used to another caregiver. If you are using a tub, get the same tub. My LO refused to sit in the tub until we got something similar then she started playing inside. Put in some toys too to distract your LO.
