LO Sucking His Hands

My little boy 2 mths old is sucking his hands v hard. This happens even after his milk feeding. I don't think he is hungry but rather I read online he is soothing himself. But I am saddened as his hands is bruised. Anyway to help? Suggestions welcome.

my LO sucking her mitten, if no mitten she will put all 4 finger into her mouth, she also like her napkins, blanket, anything nearby her mouth she will try to lick, so far I still find it's cute 😄 not sure to give her pacifier or not. she is almost 2 months old like your LO
