Bleeding in 8 weeks pregnancy

Hi ladies.. First time mother here.. Im 33 years old and got pregnant after IUI procedure.. Currently 8 weeks pregnant and saw baby and baby's heartbeat in last scan.. However, 2 days ago and today I experienced vaginal bleeding. I rushed to doctor who said baby is safe. Today I am again at the doctor waiting to be examined.. Any of you experienced this before? Should I be worried?

Is it pinkish discharge or dark red blood? There is a difference between spotting and bleeding. I had spotting for a few days on the 8th week of my first pregnancy too; i panicked but it turned out to be fine; now my daughter is almost 3 years' old already. I'm currently on the 8th week in my second pregnancy. Yesterday I also had some pinkish spotting when I wiped after pee. I don't think it's a issue. If it's heavy blood soaking up your underwear or sanitary pad, then you must go to see doctor.
