My Tito and Tita would best fit your description. They've had series of fights (think of the worst, yes). They also have parted ways and got united again (for over a hundred times). But until now, they still manage to stay together. Before they thought that it is too toxic already but they realized that they can still save the relationship so up until now, they are staying together.
