I've missed my period but the pregnancy test came came out to be negative. I have been trying for a baby. How long should I wait to go to the doctor?

You can go to GP/polyclinic directly to do a blood test to confirm if you are pregnant. Blood test is more accurate than the home pregnancy test kit. If your blood test result is positive, you can schedule your first gynae visit when you are in weeks 6 to 8 to have a transabdominal scan to detect fetus and heartbeat.

There's no point going to the gynae unless the pregnancy test is positive.

You should go gynecologist to do blood test as this more accurate and can confirm if you are pregnant.
