Safe to visit relative or friends house during CNY?

My FIL has alr texted the relatives that CNY celebrations shall be cancelled this year due to covid. 😆 Cos our yearly extended fam gathering is buffet style at one house and definitely exceeds 8 guests, so we shall all be law-abiding and forgo the celebration. Don't mind cos it'll be safer for me (2nd trimester), and can save on angbao money.
