Is it safe for 1-year-olds to eat tiny pieces of bibingka?

Yes, but only if it's home-made. If you are into baby-led weaning, you may make these bibingka into tiny balls so your bub can enjoy feeding alone. You can also make them more appealing to the eyes by veering away from the classic brown bibingka. Try adding some toppings like in this one, sesame seeds. You can check this link for the Sticky Rice recipe :) http://www.todaysparent.com/recipe/vegetarian/sticky-rice-balls-recipe/

Yes, but make sure the bibingka is mashed or better add couple of drops of water to it.
