Is it worth reading a bedtime story to a newborn?

Why not? My girl is 2 months old and I've been reading to her ever since she was born. Definitely ! One should read bedtime stories to your newborn.. Many mums even do it during pregnancy. If you are doing it during pregnancy this helps your baby recognize your voice. When you read stories to your newborn, your LO recognizes your voice. This will definitely calm your LO. It is also said that this helps in developing the overall intelligence of the child (I am not sure how)
