I loved sushi when I was pregnant! :) But, it's best to steer clear of the raw kind as it might upset your stomach. It also poses the risk of bacterial infection if the sushi isn't fresh or prepared properly.

Just stick to the sushi that has cooked ingredients as toppings. Unagi, tamago and those with veggies etc. I love the deep fried sushi rolls at Sakae Sushi by the way. In moderation of course ;)

While is it advisable not to consume raw seafood, sushi is okay if the ingredients are cooked. That said, I sneaked a few pieces of sashimi and even oyster whilst I was pregnant.

Sushi is safe to consume if it's cooked but not those that are made with raw fish. Raw fish might sometimes contain small parasitic worms which will make you sick.

I love sushi too during my pregnancy esp early stage but i agree tht it's best to stay away from those raw ones..just in case.

it is advisable to avoid those sushi .. esp the raw one.. even telur separuh masak pun tk digalakkan
