According to Yakult's website, it's perfectly okay for a pregnant woman to have Yakult as it contains natural ingredients as skimmed milk and glucose, etc. Also, Yakult helps to replenish the level of good bacteria and suppress the harmful bacteria in her digestive system which helps her to maintain her digestive system in good condition. Personally, I am a big fan of Yakult and had 1 every time during my lunch. But it has to only be the purple ones lol
A friend of mine craved yakult (the green one, in particular, think it was green apple flavour?) throughout her second trimester. She even ordered her bubbletea with yakult in it. But she was careful to limit her yakult intake, as per her doctor's advice, because too much of something can never be too good.
Yes, I think Yakult is good for the digestive health (it is effective in helping some of my friends with their constipation problems during pregnancy) and it also helps boost the immune system. Personally, I prefer the low sugar version and have one every day. :)

Personally I don't find Yakult as a very big help during pregnancy. I would rather have a fresh bowl of home-set curd for the good bacteria and my gut than a (sweet) shot of yakult.
if u're craving for it..u can have one.but its not really good for u during pregnancy exp if u're on gdm diet.fresh fruits and juice is better.
