Is it normal for a teething baby to get fever?

Yes, a low grade fever is one of the common symptoms that babies exhibit when teething, though you should bring her to the doctor if it lasts for more than 3 days. Sponge your baby with a wet cloth frequently to bring down the fever. I use KoolFever patches which can be pasted onto her forehead. This is readily available from Watsons for about $6. My daughter had mild fever each time she was teething but it went away quickly as well. I didn't gave her paracetomol but instead use fever patches as I didn't want her to be too relient on drugs. However, if your baby fever is higher, please do bring her to the doctor immediately as teething will not be the caused of high fevers.
