Is investing in a breastfeeding pillow a good idea? Is it really worth it?

I find tt it is a life saver. get a good firm one like breastfriend. it's like a part of me now and it leaves my arms free to use the computer or eat. gave me some parts of my life back. I use it mostly in d day up to last feed of the day. middle of the night will side latch instead =)

yes it's worth it! I didn't manage to latch on for my first one but for my second one I got a "my brest friend" pillow and it really helps! it provides a good support for the baby. I used pillows previously and they sink down with baby's weight and hence do not provide good support.

I do not use breastfeeding pillow as most of the time I use side lying latch on method. If you prefer to latch using cradle or football position I guess it will be very useful. However, I find most of my friends can breastfeed baby very well without the pillow too.

My sil pass down me hers. I find it okie to use when baby is still small. But after a while I have my own ways of breastfeeding & I just use it when baby tummy time. U can buy from carousell a second hand one cos it not cheap anyway.

No it's not. Your back will ache. I had one. I used once & chunk it aside. Best is side latching. Try to master side latch, you can sleep well at night. Just cuddle, & sleep. Baby anytime hungry will wiggle to you.

Maybe the first few times when you're still 'learning the ropes', it is useful. I think once you get the hang of breastfeeding, you won't need it. I agree with some mommies here, best to latch side lying down.

12mths into breastfeeding, and never once regret not buying a bf pillow! Best is side latching so that can rest and nurse! We need all the rest we can get.. Practice makes perfect! Good luck!

it's useful for bb less than 3 months old as they would outgrow it.. suggest you can get from carousell if you are comfortable? as I did and is cheaper since I won't use for long term..

I don't have one but i think it will help on your first few months of breastfeeding. You can use pillow as an alternative, that's what i do. :) happy breastfeeding!
