I'm under kkh subsidized route. Will I be able to choose A1 ward for my delivery stay?
Yes you can. But you’ll be considered a private patient from now on. That’s what I did too. And I couldn’t choose a gynae so they just assigned me to a gynae that is available
You can choose A1 but you will then no longer be under the subsidised route. Your baby will also be tagged to you under private.
Can then you will be a private patient and have to pay private fees. You will have to fork out cash to deposit for the bed.
U can choose A1 only when you change to private. If still under subsidized, u can only choose class b and below
