How Not To tell Colleagues

I'm in my first tri and I'm quite close to my colleagues. Usual practice is to not tell anyone other than the necessary people until first tri is over. But because I am close to my colleagues it's been hard! How did yall do it? I'm also too tired to go for some outings and wish I can just tell them the real reason why.

Just tell them you are tired and wanted to rest. Close friend and colleagues sometimes can tell but most people will just gossip behind you, wont expose you one.

If they are close and trustworthy yes can share the joy with them. For outing wise, let them know as least they will understand why u cannot do certain things.

I only share with my immediate sup. Esp when there is a need for physical work like carrying heavy things at least she can help to block away for me.

Im now 1st trimester too. I share with my boss, eventually my morning sickness just cant hide from all my colleagues. So now all know..

Just tell them u are having backaches. And that it gets really bad somedays. Win win. Cos u will definitely be experiencing some back pains.

I think it is fine to share with them about your pregnancy as they are your close friends

I think it's alright to share since you are very close to them.

You can share the exciting news with close colleagues.

For my close colleagues I would tell them.

Thanks everyone!
