I'm going to start my son on solids next week. He's currently on 5 milk feeds. Do I drop a feed as he starts eating solids?
You shouldn't drop feeds immediately as your baby's main source of food should still be milk. Solids are meant to complement milk feeds until the child reaches 1 year old, so you can take this time to experiment and see what type of solids your baby likes! http://kellymom.com/nutrition/starting-solids/solids-how/ http://www.bounty.com/baby-0-to-12-months/weaning/how-to-wean/cutting-down-on-milk http://sg.theasianparent.com/introducing-solid-food-to-your-baby-in-4-easy-steps/
