I'm going to be starting BLW in a few weeks and wondering at 26weeks do you start with 3 meals a day from the beginning or just introduce 1 type of food once a day initially and try something different the next day?
We started with trying one thing a day initially and progressed to two and so on. Also this was not her main meal. This would be in between the main milk feeds. The baby will refuse food if their tummy is full, and you don't want to substitute the milk feed unless you know your baby is getting a tummy full. Another thing to be careful about is if you are feeding a solid too close to milk feed -- there are some fruits/vegetables that should not be mixed with dairy. Like water melon and papaya. There should be at least an hours gap between these fruits and anything dairy.

One meal for a start n the amt is usually small during the initial phase. Try boiled carrot sticks, boiled potato sticks or avocado. Observe 3 day rule for new food intro to see if there's any allergy.
