Folic acid side effects

Hello! I’m 7 weeks pregnant and on prescribed folic acid but it’s giving me really bad side effects like nausea, loss of appetite, gastric, bloating and trouble sleeping. I didn’t get morning sickness or aversion to food prior, any advice? My first appointment is on 20 feb.

from what I have experienced, folic acid won't have such side effects. those are actually common pregnancy symptoms.

Folic acid has no side effects. It’s for baby growth. What you have is first trimester symptoms it’s normal.

these are common symptoms for pregnancy. I'm at 11w1d now. experienced those weeks back. feeling better now though.
