Csect Internal Recovery

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks postpartum and today I've been experiencing soreness or I would say similarly to bruising feeling internally at my lower belly area/tummy. My incision are healing properly but is it normal to experience such soreness at 5 weeks pp?

Your womb takes about 6-8 weeks to contract, and this happens more intensely when breastfeeding or pumping, so the soreness can definitely last longer than 5 weeks. Hang in there! It gets better!

Do consult your gynaecologist if you still experience soreness a week later or if you feel any pain...
