Cefalexin for UTI? Safe ba? Enlighten me.

hi. I'm 10 weeks pregnant, my doctor says may mild UTI ako so she prescribed 500 mg of this Antibacterial capsule. Ok lang ho ba na inumin to? I mean, wla nmng magiging effect s fetus? I heard kc na bawal uminom ng mga gamot such as this. Please enlighten me through ur experience. Thaanks.
