If hubby says a 6 year old child is big enough to stay at home by himself anyway he knows what to do, is he correct or wrong?

6yo is too small. they might climb the chair. what if someone knock on the door and ask yr kid to open door, how. I felt it's too small to stay at home for 6yo

I have a 6+ year old and I wouldn't dream of leaving alone at home. He is mischievous and curious by nature and could easily be a hazard unto himself.

I will not allow a 6 year old child to stay at home by himself. He is not fully mature and cognizable of potential danger he/she might encounter.

It’s wrong .. he will be independent but not to leave him alone coz he is still under learning stage .. so better don’t leave him .. alone

nope..6 years old can be pretty independent bit definitely not stay at home himself. there's always the risk of fire and stuffs

6year is still too young to be home himself. Probably 1-2 hours is ok. But i still feel that it's way too young

Personally I wouldn’t take the risk. You never know what mischief little boys can get up to...

of course can't. Dangerous. The 6 yo kids are still can't take care of themselves.
