Small Baby

I went for my 32 weeks scan yesterday. I was told by the gynae that i met afterwards that my baby is growing below the 10th percentile. Blood flow and placenta seems ok but baby is not growing fast enough. Was advised to increase intake for protein and they target my baby to be at least 2 kg and above by the next appointment (which is in on 7th Jan). Any tips to increase?

I had similar issue as you during my pregnancy as well — my gynae told me my baby might not be able to hit a min 2.5kg during delivery and hence, she gave me to the green light to eat whatever I want to grow the baby. I had durian, avocado, beef, bubble tea (🤪) etc and thankfully my baby came out at 3kg. Don’t worry, your baby will grow faster at the last stage! Stay positive, continue to eat and drink well ✨

Hi! I also just went for scan yesterday (just hit week 33) and my baby was 1.7kg. Gynae also told me 2kg is more ideal, but didn’t inform us the percentile. Do you mind sharing your baby’s weight? Thank you

Baby is at the 8th percentile according to the fetal scan report given.

Ask for a referral to see a dietician. They can guide you on how much more to eat and the nutrition.
