I was immediately terminated by company upon informing about my pregnancy with compensation of 4mths maternity. Hr sent a "reminder" note to me stating that i have to produce my child's birth cert once i have delivered in order for them to file the claims from govt.
Am I obliged to give them?

You do not need to give them the birth cert.
Secondly, they shouldn't have terminate you due to pregnancy.
It's not a valid excuse.
Call MOM and enquire on your rights to see if you can fight for this case
