Feeding

I understand that if you're direct latching baby for breastfeeding, it's on baby's cue when to stop feeding but in cases of formula milk or expressed breast milk feeding, is this guide accurate? Thanks in advance!

This guide doesn’t work for my baby. He drinks less (by quite a bit, but PD says is perfectly fine so long as growth is on track. Remember diff babies are on diff growth percentiles also, so this is definitely just a very rough guide.

Depends on your baby, my LO had been drinking 120ml since she turns one month till now then slowly increasing to 130ml as she fuss around after finishing her milk, wanting more.

It's a good guide but also depends on your LO demand. My 1month girl is drinking 3oz ( 90ml). based on your guide calculation, she should be drinking 2oz(60ml).

Not really. It depend on individual baby. My baby drank 90 ml when 3 days old. At 1 month she's drinking 120ml 2nd month 150ml 3rd month 180ml 2 hourly.

It's a guide but does not have to be followed strictly. Every baby feeds at his/her own pace.

Not really. My baby is 3 weeks+ and already drinking 100-120ml every 2-4 hours.

It's a guide. You can gradually increase by 10-20ml if baby hasnt have enough

It’s a guide, but really depends on individual baby

every child is different so use this as a guide..
