Is it too early to check with a gynae?

I just test positive and not too sure how many weeks I’m in. Only today had like weird feeling like vomit but nothing comes out. Tight breast the last week. Is seeing a gynae now too early for me? 1st time and very new 😦

I had a miscarriage the previous round at week 7, when I thought to wait till 7 or 8 then visit a gynae. but it was too late. Would things changed if I had seen one when I tested positive? after I miscarried that time, the gynae from NUH (cos I went to A&E) said he left an open date for me, once I tested positive through home test kit I could go back to Clinic G for an appt. I feel if a gynae could assure you, why not just visit don't wait.

Oh it’s true also. Maybe I should call up the clinic to check

Congrats MTB! I use an app to know how many weeks I’m pregnant, currently at week 4. I’ve just scheduled an appt with a gynae when I’ve reached week 8. I’ve read that if you visit a gynae too early you won’t be able to see anything yet, and will be a wasted trip.. You can use this app to check how many weeks you’re into. Just have to enter the last day of your previous period. Or to use clear blue digital :)

hi MTB, just a correction, you should count from the first* day of your last period! The clear blue digital kits are available in Watson and on lazada too!

Congratulations! For me, I used clear blue digital (indicate weeks) to gauge after scheduling a visit with my gynae (I scheduled immediately after testing positive). 😊
