Can I still feed my milk to my baby if I have chicken pox? I don't direct latch my baby. So sad

Ur bm will not pass the chicken pox but if u have any blisters and baby comes into contact w them then u will pass the virus to the baby. Practice extra high hygiene and limit ur contact w baby yar

I suggest for you to pump and express out the milk. Safer option that way. If you can get someone else to feed baby. This is for the safety of your child and at your child's best interests.

Hey Emily, yes of course! Even if we are sick we can still bf baby. Unless you are on medication then please be careful. Bottomline the rule of the thumb is whatever we consume.
