I resigned from my work to be a SAHM this year, n hubby said since I'm a SAHM , I should be doing 100% of the housework n taking care of children n cooking etc. He won't lay a finger to help me cos he said he is in charge of bringing back the money for family .. is it supppsed to be like that ? How about his bonding time with the kids ? I'm so sad ?

Oops. The short response is stirring up quite a few passionate responses.
To respond, I would say I highly support equality of sexes. I would take charge of 100% of home matters if I were a SAHD. Man... I wish I could be a SAHD. I already do all the cooking and washing up afterwards already.
If the family has decided on having a single income source then it isn’t wise to load more onto that single income source.
You do know that in Singapore, you have to fight and justify why a local with family commitments should be considered for a position over others that have no such commitments. The rat race here is intense. So if I were a SAHD and my wife is the sole breadwinner, leaving her to be mentally and physically able to focus fully on her work is going to be a top priority.
My more complete two cents.
Everyone is free to disagree but I highly encourage everyone to consider the reality that getting retrenched at 40+ and face agism is happening all around now. What happens then
