Hi! You can go polyclinic first to get your referral letter and see how long the wait is. And yes you can opt to go private for first check but usually week 5 nothing much they can scan actually. Usually week 6-8 then can see sac+ hear heartbeat. Meanwhile you can start taking folic acid/multivits. Unless you had prior issues or bleeding/pain (suspected ectopic), usually no urgency to see gynae yet. Hope this helps!
