First Appt at 16 weeks

Hello Mummies and Mummies to be, I could only secure my first gynae appointment at 16 weeks with my chosen gynae (shes popular hence the waiting time). This is not my first pregnancy but definitely the longest I will have to wait for the first appt. I am unsure if I should go for an initial scan and where to go about since I already selected a gynae? #advicepls

Week 16 is Soooo long… i’ll go for another gynae visit first… just to get consultation, blood test, supplements first. Keep ur gynae slot with ur chosen gynae, but meanwhile just go for others to check first ba… first scan always exciting!

Yes you can go to other gynaes first while waiting for this appt! They’ll help you with the scan and provide you with folic acid and other supplements you need. For first tri, the checks are once every 2-3 weeks so you shouldn’t be missing out on that.
