Is up to urself. I previously only told my ex boss but still suffer a loss as no heartbeat detected in 7 wks. This time round I told my new boss.. cos I wanted to avoid a lot of stress work n movement.. so I hinted him saying my previous loss and I’m preparing to be a mom. Maybe I think too highly of him.. ended up my boss told me.. i shd not get preg at this time. I rub my belly n told my bb pls ignore this crazy man words. I wanted to keep it as a secret after his words but my 1st trim was bad so when I finally broke out the news to him at 9 weeks.. he was shocked. Lol.
It's not a feng shui/pantang thing actually. It's just that the first trimester is known to be unstable, so some couples prefer not to share the news until completing the first trimester. Think of it as, you'll only share good news when it's totally confirmed right. We didn't even tell our immediate family members until we completed the first trimester and they were very understanding of it. Their response was, "Are you announcing now cos you just finished the first trimester?" It's actually well understood and acceptable.
i told my boss right when i found out i was pregnant, at around 5 weeks. reason i did was because at that time i kept having to run errands, carry heavy things etc so i thought better say in case. no issues for me, baby born per normal.
Not really sure, cause I have told my manager abt my pregnancy during the 4th month and he's not gonna change my work schedule to part-time, he even criticize my work during that time, so ended up I have to quit the job for my baby's health.
I personally think that this is not pantang but pregnancy is really unstable during 1st trimester (about the first 3 months). Share only if u are comfortable or need to
nope. but you can just share with ur boss when u are ready.
Nope. But share only when you’re ready.
