GIVING WATER TO BABY

I am a little bit confuse. Is giving water to baby is really prohibited po ba talaga? My baby is pure formula milk fed my parents and in laws keep telling me na painumin ng water si baby after dumede.

Dpat po pag naka formula na hndi na paiinumin ng tubig kase may water na yung sa formula malulunod lang sa water si baby at bawal po talga water, 6mons and up pa pwede painumin
