I know this sounds crazy, but I think my maid is trying to poison me. She prepares food for the entire family, but because of my dietary restrictions, she makes separate meals for me. I have had food poisoning 3 times in the past month and I'm starting to think it's no accident. I can tell she doesn't like me but never thought she was capable of this...my son loves her which is why I'm reluctant to let her go. What should I do?

often our helpers don't fully understand the logic of our expectations. she may think it's so much work to prep a sep diet for you and get shoddy...try to have a good talk with her and manage your requirements. they really come from a very diff world. also, as a family counselor, i would say that our children NEED to attach to someone and prefer their parents. if they attach to someone else, the parents should step up... all the best to you!
