As for whether u need to go for adult cpr, I would suggest yes because handling the adult and the required strength/intensity is very different from infant version. I went for the adult first aid course and the child CPR was somewhat mentioned a little. Technically if u take the adult first aid course and also maintain ur license, u can be in the first aid team in those sports events or anything that require first aid - so a little side money too
