this is one of the superstitious beliefs po on pregnancy. dark patches on babies do appear but not because of eating or consuming eggplants. :) eggplants are good source of vitamins and minerals that are essential during pregnancy. regarding those dark marks that you see on babies, they are called mongalian spots which eventually disappear through time, usually until 1 year old ni baby.
