Period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at around 6-7weeks in 3rd week of Dec. My period has come yet? Is it normal? For those who had experienced miscarriage, when did you have your period after that (how many weeks after the miscarriage)? Is it true that it will be more painful?

Mine came back 5 weeks after my d&c. The cramps were a little more intense ans longer than usual for me but nothing too painful. Rest well :)

I am so sorry to hear. I also went trough a miscarriage . my period came back after 6 weeks.

Thanks. Hope you are feeling better. I guess mine is covering. I am feeling discomfort and pain on my abdominal area and lower back.
